Providence Consulting & Training

Arlene Jackson is the founder and principal trainer of Providence Consulting & Training. Her work is rooted in a lifelong commitment to serving communities and supporting the organizations that serve them. With a Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences and more than thirty years of experience across community relations, social services, and training, Arlene brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to leadership development and organizational learning.

As a certified nonprofit manager and a State of California–certified mediator, Arlene’s work is informed by both systems-level understanding and relational practice. She is widely recognized for her ability to navigate complexity with empathy, clarity, and respect—supporting individuals, teams, and organizations in working through challenges with intention and care.


At the heart of Arlene’s work is a deep passion for building bridges between social service professionals and the community members they serve. Through a person-centered approach, she focuses on aligning the lives individuals want to live with the support they receive—cultivating a sense of agency, dignity, and shared responsibility, while also strengthening the structures and systems organizations rely on. These principles are the cornerstones of her leadership at Providence Consulting & Training.
